Dr. Tereshel Johnson is a chiropractic physician and co-owns Green Chiropractic and Advanced Spine Center in West Omaha at 184th and Center.  Along with her partner, Dr. Toby Green, she is the founder of Bandana Dog Days. 

History

Bandana Dog Days was founded in 2005.  Not being able to have a pet, Dr. Johnson missed having dogs in her life.  So, she created Bandana Dog Days, to get her "fur fix".  This event orignally helped 32 Hurricane Katrina dogs find forever homes here in Omaha! Over the years and with the generous help of Mid-America Boston Terrier Rescue's, Jen Misfeldt, Bandana Dog Days has been able to find more pets loving homes.  Each year this event gets bigger and better, adopting out more dogs from Omaha's dog rescues!

What we do

Bandana Dog Days' multi-rescue dog adoption is annual.  Green Chiropractic is the sponsor.  Every item and each dollar donated goes back to the rescues.  Some rescues also sell dog collars, offer discounted microchipping or collect donations to raise money at this event for their rescue.  Green Chiropractic does not charge Omaha's dog rescues to participate in this event.  Because of their love of pets, their only goal is to find loving, compassionate homes for mistreated and misplaced dogs.
